Application Process for
YC
IS
At YCIS we accept applications throughout the year for all ages; a deadline is not enforced. We
appreciate that families can make an unexpected relocation to Hong Kong so we endeavour to help
families already living here and those to arrive in the future.
We encourage parents to visit YCIS to learn more. We run regular public Information Sessions (see
our website for upcoming dates) or you may contact Admissions for a private school tour.

Placement Test and / or Interview
The requirement differs by age of child
so please refer to pages 4-6 of this booklet.
Application Review
and Decision Notification
The notification can differ by age and timing.
Fees Payment
To confirm the place, the appropriate reservation fee
must be completed as specified on
the Offer of Placement.
For Secondary students, payment for
the debenture fee will also be required.
Starting School
YCIS is ready to welcome you.

for arrangement of school services and
let parents know about the first day.
